  During the second world war, a czechoslovakian pilot and doctor living in England was recruited by the British Royal Air Force; he offered his availability to fly at one condition: that I he would not be asked to shoot or drop bombs because it was against his principle.
  RAF accepted his condition, they made him fly taking pictures from the sky and they warned him of course that he was flying at his own risk, he might have been hit and he would not be able to defense himself.
  He said that he was not afraid, that if God wanted to take his life he would honour God's will.
  
  One day his airplane was hit and started falling: he tried to eject himself from the airplane but the mechanism did not work.
  During these terrible minutes he started praying, NOT FOR HIMSELF, BUT for the FORGIVING of the pilot who hit him.
  
  Suddenly the eject system worked and his life spared.
