NaturalNews) This is, without question, the most important article I've ever penned, because it discusses the idea that the human race is being destroyed in the name of science.

Stopping these "scientists" from destroying our world and our civilization must become our top priority if we hope to survive.

The entire Northern hemisphere is now imminently threatened by a massive, "global killer" radiation release from failing Fukushima reactor No. 4. Our world is right now just one earthquake away from a radiological apocalypse, and we were put into this position by scientists who promised us that nuclear power would be safe and inexpensive.

Even as we live under the immediate threat of Cesium-137-induced radiological extinction, another group of genetic scientists threatens the future of our world with self-replicating genetic pollution. These scientists work for Monsanto, Dupont and other biotech firms that have compromised the future of life on Earth in order to seek their own selfish profits. Bill Gates and all the others who have promoted GMOs and allowed them to be unleashed into our world are guilty of nothing less than crimes against both the human race and nature itself. They are a threat to the continuation of life on Earth and must be stopped.

In the realm of human biology, our very existence is now being widely threatened by toxic vaccines. Always promoted in the name of "science," these vaccines actually cause severe neurological damage and widespread infertility, compromising the ability of members of the human race to reproduce.

These pesticides, of course, are always promoted in the name of "science!" It's better living through chemistry, remember?

In fact, if you take an honest look at what threatens our civilization and our planet today, it's always something done in the name of science!
Death by science
• Toxic pesticides that kill the soils and rivers? "Science!"

• Toxic chemical medications that kill humans and pollute downstream waters? "Scientific!"

• The mass poisoning of the population with a toxic combination of industrial waste products called "fluoride?" It's all done for "science!"

• Nuclear bombs that have already decimated civilian populations? "Science!"

• Mammograms and other medical imaging devices that actually cause cancer? "Scientific!"

• Chemotherapy poisons, "preventive" mastectomies, cancer radiation treatments? It's all "scientific" of course.

• The mass mercury poisoning of children through dental amalgams? They call it "science-based dentistry!"

What's clear from all this is that the human race is being murdered in the name of science.

But underneath that realization is an even more profound one: Much of the so-called "science" is really just fraudulent science that's twisted, distorted and quacked up by greed-driven corporations.
Real science is the quest for understanding, not the quest for profit
Real science is a good thing, as it is based on the quest for knowledge. But today, there's not much real science being conducted anymore. Most of what takes place is corporate-driven science for the purpose of gaining power and profits.

In medicine, for example, the search for new drugs is not about helping humanity; it's about helping quarterly profits. But you already knew that. Only the most naive individuals today still believe Big Pharma cares about human beings.

In the world of GMOs, it's not about actually "feeding the world" as is ridiculously claimed by its corrupt, criminal pushers; it's actually about "owning the world" and using food as a weapon against the People of the world. He who controls the food supply eventually controls everything. Monsanto is hell bent on world domination, not world nourishment.

Vaccines, for their part, aren't about actually preventing disease and enhancing the health of the public. Infectious disease prevention could be easily accomplished through sanitation improvements and low-cost vitamin D supplementation. Vaccines are really about two things: 1) Population control, 2) Repeat business for the drug industry due to all the vaccine damage caused by inoculations. (Vaccines damage the liver, kidneys, brain and intestines, among other organs.)

The "science" practiced today is a science of domination and control. It is almost never carried out for humanitarian purposes to benefit humankind. Even the entire intellectual property "ownership" system of patents and trademarks is set up to grant corporate monopolies over innovation, thereby denying the People access to such innovations. Intellectual property laws have been twisted and exploited by corporate giants to hijack the innovation process and use it to crush competition. All corporations ultimately want a global monopoly over their particular industry sectors.

Universities, which once conducted research to benefit humankind, now use taxpayer money to develop patentable chemicals that are then licensed to drug companies (or pesticide companies) in exchange for royalties that enrich the university.

As a result of such trends, "science" has come to mean corruption, dishonesty, greed and death. "Scientists" -- the people who practice such science -- are death engineers whose innovations may deliver hyped-up short-term benefits, but they often ultimately lead to long-term death and destruction. Roundup herbicide, for example, kills crop soils and encourages the development of pesticide-resistant "superweeds." In the terrain of human biology, much the same ramification of death and destruction is happening with the widespread abuse of antibiotics and the alarming rise of MRSA and other "superbugs."

Such "scientific" innovations were, of course, developed by well-meaning people who didn't mean to cause widespread crop failures and antibiotic-resistant staph infections, but in doing so they only became experts in paving the road to Hell with good intentions.

Science is killing us. As a race, we are committing suicide by allowing science to dominate our medicine, agriculture and military industries. To the degree that we allow scientists to unleash their dangerous experiments onto the world without legitimate testing -- and no, flu shot vaccines are never scientifically tested for long-term safety -- we only accelerate the digging of our own graves. If we don't learn to restrain the blind ambitions of arrogant scientists who are all too easily enticed by the chance to roll the dice in their "let's play God" games, the blind pursuit of science without wisdom will only lead to our total destruction.

Because next we can count on the rise of the robot drones in the name of science -- a new race of Terminator machines (unmanned AI drones) with the capability to mindlessly unleash bombs and bullets on civilian populations. Such drones will be developed in the name of "science," of course, with all the predictable ego-driven fantasies of their geek-headed inventors who, with all their superior intellect, have still failed to study human history.

Even if the drones don't get us, nanotechnology may yet spell our demise. Scientists are already running dangerous experiments with nanotechnology, and if just one such experiment results in a self-replicating nanotech "grey goo," our entire world could be inescapably devoured by self-replicating microscopic machines that make GMOs seem tame by comparison. If we are to survive, we must force science to be bound by the Precautionary Principle
If we are to survive the endless greed, arrogance and ambition of today's scientists -- whose actions more closely resemble little children with flamethrowers than mature, adult individuals -- we must force science to abide by the Precautionary Principle.

The Precautionary Principle means that when we experiment with nature, we force ourselves to err on the side of caution, not profits. In practical terms, that means we should never unleash self-replicating genetic programs (GMOs) into the open world and let experimental seeds get blown across the continent by the wind.

We should never build highly radioactive nuclear power facilities that require power to run pumps in order to avoid a nuclear meltdown. Such facilities must be designed to run in a grid-down, self-shutdown format that defaults to an unmanned state of non-criticality.

We should never unleash synthetic chemicals across the world's crops and soils to kill insects, not knowing the long-term ramifications of such neurotoxins being introduced into the ecosystem.

The Precautionary Principle recognizes that human civilization is fragile, and science-sounding experiments can run amok in ways that simply cannot be anticipated by even the most brilliant and well-intentioned human minds.
Technology without wisdom is suicide
In the name of science, humanity has developed remarkable technologies. But as a species, humankind operates as infants in terms of wisdom and maturity. We are worse than children with flamethrowers -- we are children with nukes!

A typical top-level scientist working for a corporation or a government body is ethically under-developed, lacking wisdom and perspective. They may be geniuses in their absurdly narrow realms of technical expertise, but they have no understanding of the importance of restraining the application of scientific pursuits in the real world. Even now, scientists working at the Large Hadron Collider near Geneva are playing God with the universe, attempting to discover what they ridiculously call new "particles" even though such particles are not even particles in the first place. In their quest for what they claim to be scientific knowledge, they are playing a dangerous game with our world, risking the very small but catastrophically fatal chance that their experiment might create a planet-consuming black hole that devours our world. But their colleagues also told us that nuclear power was safe; that GMOs are safe; that pesticides are safe; that fluoride is safe; that vaccines are safe; and on and on. If there's one thing we can scientifically establish as truth in our world today, it's that scientists vastly and naively overestimate the safety of their own experiments, often in ways that cause widespread harm, death or destruction to innocent people around them.

History has taught us that scientists have very little ability to anticipate the long-term effects of their present-day actions. The nature of the universe is more complex than even the most brilliant scientist can imagine, it turns out, and when they start to play God with the natural world, unexpected things can and do occur. Murphy was an optimist, as the saying goes. Not only will things go wrong if they can go wrong; they will go wrong in catastrophic ways that simply cannot be anticipated.
The sixth mass extinction on our planet may be caused by science itself

Earliest Mayan calendar shows no hint of 'world end'

The earliest known Mayan calendar has been found in an ancient house in Guatemala and it offers no hint that the world's end is imminent, researchers said Thursday.

Rather, the painted room in the residential complex at Xultun was likely the place where the town scribe kept records, scrawling computations on the walls in an effort to find "harmony between sky events and sacred rituals," said the study in the journal Science.

The hieroglyphs date back to the ninth century, making them hundreds of years older than the calendars in the Maya Codices, which were recorded in bark-paper books from 1300 to 1521.

Some appear to be the 365-day solar calendar, the 584-day cycle of the planet Venus and the 780-day cycle of Mars, said archaeologist William Saturno of Boston University, who led the exploration and excavation.

According to Saturno, the writing looks like someone's attempt to sort out a very long math problem, as if on a blackboard.

"For the first time we get to see what may be actual records kept by a scribe, whose job was to be official record keeper of a Maya community," Saturno said.

Mayan priests in Guatemala participate in a vigil in 2010 to welcome the end of the Mayan calendar. The earliest known Mayan calendar has been found in an ancient house in Guatemala and it offers no hint that the world's end is imminent, researchers said Thursday

"The ancient Maya predicted the world would continue, that 7,000 years from now, things would be exactly like this," he added.

"We keep looking for endings. The Maya were looking for a guarantee that nothing would change. It's an entirely different mindset."

Furthermore, there is no sign that the much-hyped myth that the Mayan calendar would end in 2012, and with it the world, has any bearing in reality.

All that ended in 2012 was one of its calendar cycles, said co-author Anthony Aveni, professor of astronomy and anthropology at Colgate University.

"It's like the odometer of a car, with the Maya calendar rolling over from the 120,000s to 130,000," said Aveni.

"The car gets a step closer to the junkyard as the numbers turn over; the Maya just start over," he added.

"The most exciting point is that we now see that the Maya were making such computations hundreds of years -- and in places other than books -- before they recorded them in the Codices."

Even though the 12-square mile (31-square kilometer) site of Xultun, deep in a rainforest where tens of thousands of people once lived, was first discovered about 100 years ago, the house structure where the calendar is drawn on the walls was spotted in 2010.

Researchers say careful excavations have revealed that the paintings inside -- including some of human figures wearing feather head-dresses -- show the first examples of Mayan art on a house interior.

"It's weird that the Xultun finds exist at all," Saturno said. "Such writings and artwork on walls don't preserve well in the Maya lowlands, especially in a house buried only a meter (three feet) below the surface."

Good Enough To Be True

When I began to teach classes on spiritual principles, I devoted some time at the end of each class meeting to pray for students and their loved ones. One woman asked the group to pray for the continued health of her sister, who had had cancer, but the disease was now in remission. At that time I had not heard the term “in remission, so I asked her what it meant.

“It means that the disease went away for now, but it might come back,” she explained.

The explanation made no sense to me then, and it makes even less sense to me now. The idea is that the disease is here and real, a prevalent condition, but it has temporarily gone behind a curtain and may pop out again. The notion was jarring to me because my understanding is that health is our prevalent condition and our natural state. When a disease occurs, our health is temporarily in remission, and will return when the temporary condition of the disease has been alleviated.

Modern medicine, for all its wonders and benefits, subscribes to many beliefs that are upside down and inside out. Disease, for one thing, is not a thing. It does not have a life of its own. Disease, as illuminated by the ancient science of Chinese medicine, represents a blockage of the natural life flow, or chi, that moves through the body and keeps it alive and healthy. If the chi is blocked consistently at the same point, and reinforced with life-denying thoughts, emotions, attitudes, habits, and lifestyle, the organ will manifest what we call a disease. Yet the disease has no life or power in and of itself; it is simply a sign of where life has momentarily not been allowed to flow. When you invite and allow the life force to flow once again, through methods such as acupuncture, massage, exercise, herbs, diet, attitude upgrade, or cessation of the thoughts, feelings, and habits that created the blockage, healing occurs naturally. There is no disease that has not been cured through restoring life force. Therefore no disease is incurable.

The word “disease” contains a clue as to how to heal it. “Dis-ease” indicates that ease, or well-being, is our natural state, and for the moment we have “dissed” ease with some form of stress or resistance. The answer to disease, then, is to return to our natural state of ease. No dis-ease can live in the presence of ease, so restoring ease is the optimal route to healing.

To heal our lives we need to do a radical figure-ground shift on our understanding of how life works. We need to recognize that health, prosperity, rewarding relationships, and the other conditions we value and seek are our natural state, and everything else is the exception. Just as a cloud passing before the sun does not mean the sun has gone away, a momentary condition of disease does not mean that health has gone away. The health is temporarily in remission. It can return as surely as the sun will return when the cloud has passed.

A seminar participant reported, “I have had a long string of failed relationships over many years. Now I have been dating a guy for six months and everything is going great. This seems too good to be true.”

I told her, “It’s not too good to be true. It’s good enough to be true.” If you have a history of pain or loss, you may come to believe that suffering is your natural state. I assure you it is not. Well-being is far closer to your nature and destiny than the dismal conditions you and I have been taught to accept.

Around the same time I first heard about remission, my mother asked me to go to the supermarket to pick up some applesauce on sale. When I reached the applesauce aisle, I saw a big sign: “Applesauce — 89 cents — natural or regular.” I read the label on the “regular” jar. The contents included sugar, food coloring, and preservatives. The “natural” jar contained only apples and water.

What is regular is not always natural. We have become so accustomed to things that are regular that we have forgotten what is natural. Health and well-being are at the top of the list of the inherently natural contents of life. To define health as the temporary absence of disease is insane. That would be like defining light as the temporary absence of darkness. The opposite is true: Light has substance; darkness does not. Health has substance; disease is void of substance. Life is made of substance, not its absence.

Tom Stoppard declared, “It’s the best possible time to be alive, when almost everything you thought you knew is wrong!” If you are happy and healthy and your life is functioning beautifully, you are proceeding from your natural state. If you are ill, struggling, or unhappy, you have subscribed to or inherited beliefs that are out of alignment with how life actually works. If you want to get to the bottom of “remission,” remember your mission in life – to live happily and authentically, and re-store your mission. Then your life will be in permanent remission, and you will return to the ease in which you were born to live.

When we think of Soul Mates, we usually think of the one person/soul that is meant for us to spend the rest of our life with. We search endlessly for this one soul, and when we find a soul matching our vibration, we feel and know they are "the one". The challenge most of us have is when we find "the one", we (self) create an image or level of expectation, while we pour all we have into the cultivating the relationship forming a new bond. To further complicate our own life is when the relationship comes to an end and we play the victim role. What we fail to see immediately is the person who recently exited our life taught a valuable life lesson. The life lesson is not observed until we release the heightened emotions of the human experience. Remember we are Souls first, Humans second. Understand we chose to come here during this time for our Soul to evolve to be our Best Self, our Higher Self. The question now becomes how do we see our Soul Mate for who they really are to grow together?

To find our Soul Mate, we first must understand and know we have a Soul Group. This group of souls made an agreement with one another, to play a part in each other's life. The role played by each soul is to help one another grow and evolve. Immediately when a Soul Group is thought of, the role of family comes to mind. Our human family is the most challenging role played. Members of our Soul Group took on the role of the human family, because they are able teach us lessons other souls are unable too yet. As we go through our human development and soul awaking, the family is there to guide us every step of the way. Yet there are moments or extended periods where the soul(s) playing the family role get caught up in the "role" and forget their Soul is guiding us, not a “role”. There comes a time when each soul has to release the role chosen and allow the guided soul to grow. When the soul group member forgets their purpose and continues in the role played, this can result in the soul retaining unexpressed emotions, guilt, resentment, or other like emotions. When this is recognized by other members of the soul group, we are filled with a longing, a desire to help this soul remember who they truly are. We have to pour loving energy over them and accept them as they are, so they know they are loved.

However, our human family is not the extent of our Soul Group. Our dearest friends are a part of the group. They play different roles at different times. They are often advisers and not like guides or teachers like our family. This is one reason why or family is dear to us, because they are teachers, guides and sometimes guardians of our life. The role of adviser is a key role in our life. When we fail to listen to our intuition or second guess self, we seek outside council. Our friends are a trusted panel of knowledge. The knowledge they learned about us over the years is a reflection of who were are or evolved from. With the knowledge gained about us, our friends can assist us in making informed decisions. We also have to remember, not everyone who enters our life will always be there and not everyone a part of our life is a part of our Soul Group.

As stated earlier, we have to remember we are Souls first. This means we are loving and kind Beings of Light. Those who enter our lives are meant to come in for a reason and for however long. We allow other Souls to enter and exit our life once the agreement is filled, yet there will be souls who are not fully awake or aware as the others and may soulfully forget about the agreement made. This can cause a level of hurt to the soul express in a human way. We have to learn to release this disappointment on a soul level. As souls, we will have to have clarity about self and the roles others play in our life. Everyone entering our life is for a reason. The reason is only for self to know.

Our search for our Soul Mate is a tireless one, when expressed in human value. As humans we date, spend time with various people matching our vibration at that time in our life, meaning once our vibration changes so do the people, with exceptions. The exceptions would be family and closest friends, those souls that have been with you for many lifetimes. We have more than one Soul Mate, but there is a Primary Soul Mate. The Primary Soul Mate plays a pivotal role in your life and you meet one another when the timing is divinely orchestrated. The Primary Soul Mate is a soul that has been with you in every life and may not always be your Spouse in each life. Your Primary Soul Mate can be your mother, father, brother, sister, close relative, friend or spouse. We have to love the other members of our Soul Group just as we love our Soul Mates, and Primary Soul Mate.

Each Soul Mate teaches us a lesson to grow and be our Best Self, our Higher Self. Without our Soul Mates we would be lost on Earth. They make it easier for us to navigate through life. They help us in many ways when we are open to receiving the lesson for self to grow and then in turn share our truth with the rest of the world. We are all connected and our Soul Mates help to keep us grounded while evolving.

May 2012 is an exceptionally powerful month, and with all of the challenges going on in people’s lives, it is a real opportunity for us to make a positive difference for people everywhere. Individually and collectively we can utilize this amazing influx of Light for the benefit of ourselves, our families, and all Humanity. At this time Humanity is receiving the maximum assistance from On High that Cosmic Law will allow. That means that you and I now have the ability to increase the Light we are adding to the world in unprecedented ways.

When you focus on the Eternal Moment of NOW, your precious Light is woven into the building momentum of the activities of Light unfolding throughout this month and the remaining months of 2012. At this time your efforts are being amplified a thousand times a thousand fold by your I AM Presence and the Company of Heaven. I want to thank you for your willingness to invoke the Light of God on behalf of yourself and ALL Humanity. KNOW that the Light of God is ALWAYS Victorious and YOU are that Light.

Please read this entire article with an open mind and an open heart. This is the Cosmic Moment for which we have all been preparing for aeons of time. It is not by chance that your I AM Presence magnetized this information into your sphere of awareness. You have a vital role to play in this facet of the unfolding Divine Plan. As you read this celestial sharing from the Company of Heaven, breathe in and out deeply and rhythmically. Ask your I AM Presence to unite your heart and mind with the Heart and Mind of our Father-Mother God, and the I AM Presence of every man, woman, and child on Earth.

In one-pointed consciousness, and with Divine Intentions, we offer ourselves as a Cup, a Holy Grail, through which the Light of God will flow to transform the Earth, her peoples, her governments, and ALL Life evolving on this planet into the perfection of our New Planetary CAUSE of Divine Love.

The month of May is always a very spiritual and powerful time, but this year we have an even more powerful opportunity to utilize the increase of Light that will bless the planet. There are several activities of Light that take place during May. The 1st of May is known as Saint Germain's Ascension Day. Every year on that day, Saint Germain and the Legions of Angels associated with the Violet Flame bless the Earth with a tremendous influx of the Violet Flame of God’s Infinite Perfection.

May is also the month in which Mother Mary opens her Temple of the Immaculate Heart in the Inner Realms. Every soul who will be conceived from May 1st of that year through April 30th of the following year is drawn into Mother Mary’s Temple. Once they are there, she helps the I AM Presence of each one to prepare the Chalice of the Heart that will hold his or her Threefold Flame during the upcoming embodiment.

The Taurus Full Moon is another activity of Light that usually occurs during the month of May. That Full Moon is celebrated as the Wesak Festival, which honors the birth and Enlightenment of the Buddha, as well as Humanity’s shift into Enlightened Consciousness.

Because of the urgency of the hour, in May 2012 there are several additional Gifts of Light that are blessing all Life on this sweet Earth. Saint Germain and the Legions of Violet Flame Angels not only increased the influx of the Violet Flame of God’s Infinite Perfection on May 1st, but they volunteered to bathe the planet and all her Life with NEW Solar Frequencies of the Violet Flame beyond anything we have ever experienced. This Gift of Solar Violet Fire will increase daily and hourly for the remainder of 2012. This is a Gift of Divine Grace that will help clear the way for the Birth of our New Renaissance of Divine Love, which will occur during the 25th Anniversary of Harmonic Convergence on August 11-16, 2012, and it will also prepare every atomic and subatomic particle and wave of Life on Earth to receive the monumental influxes of Light that will occur on December 12th and December 21st.

On May 5, 2012, we experienced the Wesak Full Moon which was considered a Super Moon because it was the closest the moon will be to the Earth this year. This factor amplified the Gifts of Wesak. May 5th also carried the numerological frequency of 5-5-5 since 2012 is a 5 year. There were many global meditations and gatherings that took place on that day to take advantage of this rare frequency. Numerically 5 is the number for rejuvenation on all planes and the birthing of new life. It is the number that carries the momentum of freedom, change, and new opportunities. Five is the frequency of the 5th Solar Aspect of Deity which reverberates with the Divine Qualities of Illumined Truth, Healing, Concentration, and Consecration. All of these frequencies were greatly amplified by the Super Moon and the triple 5 day of May 5, 2012. The Light from these events is still pulsating in, through, and around every particle of Life on Earth and will continue to bless us throughout the month of May.

As I mentioned, Mother Mary is another very powerful Being of Light who is associated with the Mystical Month of May. Every year, throughout the month of May, Mother Mary's Temple of The Immaculate Heart is opened in the Inner Realms. This year, Mother Mary is taking Humanity a step further into the frequencies of God’s Divine Love by intensifying the sacred gift she gave to each of us last year.

Throughout the month of May, while each of us are in our finer bodies at night, our I AM Presence will escort us into Mother Mary's Temple of The Immaculate Heart. Once we are there, Mother Mary will work with our I AM Presence to help prepare the Immortal Victorious Threefold Flame in our heart to receive the New Solar Frequencies of the 5th Dimension that we are Ascending into. Last May Mother Mary helped our I AM Presence to expand our Threefold Flame until that aspect of our Divinity returned to its original Divine Potential and enveloped our physical, etheric, mental, and emotional bodies.

This year Mother Mary is intensifying our Threefold Flame’s ability to assimilate higher frequencies of Solar Light without harming the cellular structure of our Earthly bodies. This is occurring in order to prepare every man, woman, and child on Earth for the unprecedented influx of Solar Light that will flood the planet during the 25th Anniversary of Harmonic Convergence, August 11-16, 2012. At that time we will reboot the patterns of perfection that have been downloaded from our New Planetary CAUSE of Divine Love. When this influx of Light occurs, Humanity’s I AM Presence will activate the newly imprinted genetic codings within our Twelve Solar Strands of DNA. This will allow us to Birth a NEW Renaissance of Love for the Earth and ALL Life evolving upon her.

Every one of us has been preparing for this wondrous event for aeons of time. This critical facet of the unfolding Divine Plan will clear the way, so that every man, woman, and child will at long last be able to reclaim his or her Divine Birthright as a Beloved Child of God. Then each one of us will easily cocreate a life of fulfillment and joy. This merciful act of Divine Intervention and Grace will dramatically increase our ability to be the powerful forces of Divine Love we were always destined to be.

May 13, 2012 is Mother’s Day in many countries around the world. When millions of people focus on the Love of and for their Mother, a Chalice of Collective Consciousness is created through which the Light of our Mother God, the Holy Spirit, will flow to bless all Life.

On May 20th, we will experience a very powerful New Moon Solar Eclipse, and on June 4th we will experience a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. These two celestial events will lift us further into the Light in preparation for the greatest influx of Divine Love that we have ever experienced. That influx of Divine Love will occur during the last phase of the Venus Transit on June 5-6, 2012.

Venus has always been considered the planet of Love. This is not just romantic hyperbole. Venus actually does reflect the full gathered momentum of our Father-Mother God’s Divine Love to all of the planets in our Solar System. Every 104 years Venus’ service of bathing the Earth with Divine Love is greatly amplified through an event known as the Venus Transit. During this transit Venus passes between the Earth and the Sun, an event that lasts for 6-7 hours. As Venus crosses the face of the Sun frequencies of Solar Light exponentially expand Venus’ ability to radiate Love to the Earth. This increased influx of Divine Love is anchored in the core of purity within every electron of precious Life energy on Earth.

The Venus Transit occurs in two parts. After the first transit the Love of Venus builds in momentum within every particle of Life on Earth. This prepares every facet of Life on Earth for the amplified influx of Divine Love that will bathe the planet during the second phase of the transit. The second part of the Venus Transit happens exactly 8 years minus two days later.

The first phase of the Venus Transit which we are now in the midst of took place on June 8, 2004. Since that time, the Love from Venus has been building in momentum softening the hearts and minds of Humanity and greatly enhancing the awakening that is taking place around the world.

On June 6, 2012, we will experience the second phase of the Venus Transit. Due to the unparalleled awakening that has taken place on Earth since June 8, 2004, this influx of Light will catapult Humanity and our new Planetary CAUSE of Divine Love into position for the event that will Birth a Renaissance of Divine Love on Earth. With the God Victorious success of this impending event, Humanity will shift into a higher state of consciousness, a consciousness of Divine Love that will manifest as the order of the New Day for Planet Earth.

This unprecedented event will take place during the 25th anniversary of Harmonic Convergence, August 11-16, 2012. This will be a critical step of preparation before the influx of Light that will bathe the Earth during the December 21, 2012 Solstice.

It is difficult for us to truly grasp the magnitude of what this will mean for the Earth and all her Life. But the Beings of Light have said that from that moment forth, the physical manifestation of the patterns of perfection for the New Earth will begin to externalize as a tangible reality. This will be the Heaven on Earth of our own creation through our I AM Presence. These patterns for the New Earth will reflect Humanity’s Oneness and the Reverence for ALL Life.

The Divine Plan

In order to accomplish this monumental facet of the Divine Plan, we are being asked by our Father-Mother God and the Company of Heaven to unite our hearts, heads, and hands during the global event that will take place August 11-16, 2012. Therewill be many diverse ways in which we can weave our Light into this Divine Plan. Pay close attention to the opportunities that are presented to you. Ask your I AM Presence for guidance, and ask this wondrous aspect of your own Divinity to pave the way, so that you will be able to fulfill your heart’s calling.

As you may know, the Hawaiian Islands are remnants of the continent of Lemuria. The initial impulse of Humanity’s fall from Grace took place on Lemuria aeons ago. Since Harmonic Convergence in August 1987, the Hawaiian Islands have played a critical role in reversing the adverse effects of Humanity’s fall from Grace and the healing of Mother Earth. Many of the people embodied at this time have links to Lemuria. They realize that they are here now to heal the atrocities that resulted on that continent when Humanity fell into the abyss of separation and duality.

The Island of Kauai is known as the Garden Isle. This island contains within its etheric records the Immaculate Concept or Divine Blueprint for the body of Mother Earth. This is the original pristine beauty that Mother Earth expressed prior to the fall. It is the verdant splendor that we have always referred to as the Garden of Eden.

Kauai’s etheric records also contain the archetypes for the Divine Potential of what Mother Earth will express when she Ascends into her rightful place on the 5th-Dimensional Spiral of Evolution and dons the seamless garment of her new Solar Reality.

For the facet of the miraculous Divine Plan that will take place in August, our Father-Mother God and the Company of Heaven have asked us to organize a gathering of dedicated people from all over the world who will be willing to work with the Company of Heaven and to serve as surrogates on behalf of ALL Humanity. Together, these selfless volunteers will cocreate a mighty transformer through which the Light of God will flow to catapult Humanity and our new Planetary CAUSE of Divine Love into a frequency of Light that will establish a Renaissance of Love for all Life on this blessed planet.

Then, through the I AM Presence of every man, woman, and child, Humanity will shift into a higher state of consciousness establishing Divine Love as the order of the New Day on Planet Earth.

This gathering will take place August 11-16, 2012, within the embrace and exquisite beauty of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. The vehicle that will be used for this gathering will be the 26th Annual World Congress on Illumination.

Listen to your heart, a Clarion Call is now reverberating from the Heart of our Father-Mother God invoking your assistance in this holy endeavor. Respond according to your inner guidance. Know that whenever you volunteer to serve as an Instrument of God on behalf of Humanity and ALL Life evolving on Earth, the floodgates of Heaven open to support you and to help pave the way for your participation.

It is critical that Lightworkers from around the world be physically present for this important facet of the unfolding Divine Plan. All of the Lightworkers who have been prepared to serve in this wondrous way on behalf of Humanity and all Life on this sweet Earth will know who they are through the inner promptings of their heart. This is true whether we need assistance with time, energy, money, or courage to accomplish this facet of our Divine Mission.

The Company of Heaven has asked us to organize this monumental event in a beautiful, healing venue, so the selfless volunteers who make the sacrifice to serve in this way will truly experience a glimpse of Heaven on Earth. I want to assure you that this will be a life-transforming experience for you. In wondrous ways, your life will never be the same.

This sacred conclave will be a celestial experience for everyone involved. Each day, as we successfully fulfill one phase of the Divine Plan, the Beings of Light will reveal the next phase of the plan to us. Ashtar - Ascension Preparation with Freedom, Peace and Love

"Well, Good Evening, Family! We are so delighted to be here! We are absolutely bursting with Joy at the wondrous news.* Yes, you heard the grand headline, did you not? And there’s a lot more going on. And now if you have any little concerns or thoughts that perhaps it’s never going to happen, we hope that you are in a much higher state by now. And you know it is all unfolding.

"Details are coming about in such rapidity, and such quantities, that it is almost impossible to keep up with the events. But that is why we are here – so that we can be partners in creating these various, wondrous events. And yes, we know there are some places where there is still some violence going on. We shall be addressing that with Mother Sekhmet’s Exercise when we join together in Communion, in order to add yet more high level, High Dimensional healing to the process that is going on now, because, of course, all of these are happening and it’s time to dance, it’s time to celebrate!!!

"And yet, of course, there is a lot of disinformation going around, and this disinformation is designed to keep everybody down and afraid. Now, we know that you are not in that group, but you know yourselves, Beloved Ones, and we’re with you all the time, and we can assure you that there are many, many wondrous beings in human bodies who are afraid. They may be family members, they may be neighbors, friends, co-workers, even strangers. You’re starting to get so high with all of these energies coming in that you are more easily able to discern the energies in the marketplace around you!

"We know that it is very, very much a sticking-out kind of a thing when somebody is afraid. You’re starting to read that. And so it is, again that we remind you to be the compassionate observer, the beamer of light, with compassionate Love. In other words, and this is a true statement: It is not that the dark has so much empowerment to be contagious to you, Beloved Ones - it is that the Light that you beam has the empowerment to help others who are not quite as high on life and all that is happening as you are!!!

"And so we bring this observation to you so that you can be assured that you have only more Light upon your paths, because you, yourselves, are welcoming it. You’re bringing it in and you are helping to share it with the entirety of Planet Earth and beyond. And thus it is that you are literally dispelling the fears that are in the minds, and yes, sometimes the Hearts, of those around you. Fear can travel, you know, throughout the energy fields of a person. Extreme fear or stress can even create disharmonies and imbalances so severe that they even are contagious to the human body.

"We want to assure you, each and everyone of you, that you are all equipped, that you have all opened your Hearts sufficiently, and indeed, the entirety of your energy fields, that you have your Guides with you, that you have this wondrous Family, this Ohana, Family, with you, and that you are all on the path of Light. Of course, we are speaking of that Light frequency, if you want to get a little bit scientific, called Love. It’s what you are made from and it’s what is the highest, most powerful energy on the Planet!

"More and more Love is speaking forth, and there are more and more examples of Love-empowered courage coming to light - that beloved man, for instance, who opened himself up, opened up his DNA just enough to get the inspirations to build the technologically advanced machine to help the children walk; the man who said 'STOP' to an entire government of a very large, large place in this world called China and said, 'You cannot, you must not, be treating women and children as you have been doing!'**

"You know, there is plenty of land in China that is not occupied, and even though it might seem barren, or desert, or whatever, and there are neighbors to China who are different countries – well, they are pretty well influenced by China - but they have a lot of land, and there is land in other parts of the world, and it is that this land shall bloom, and everyone shall thrive with abundance. And when we have, shall we say, the full and open Announcements of our presence among you, just watch how fast we bring our technologies to all for the healing that the Planet, and every member of Mother Gaia’s kingdoms!!!

"But first things must come first, and so with all of these events that are happening, there are the unleashings of some of the last remnants, shall we say, of programs -programs devised by, let us just say, the ancestors of one such as Hillary, designed to spread the fear, perpetuate the lies, and keep it all going. Because this is a Planet of free will, these ones have been enjoying a lot of Freedom, and even as we are rounding them up, so to speak, we are curtailing their Freedoms, and yes, retrieving all the monies which they have stolen – not just in this lifetime, Beloveds, but in many others. They go way back, these ones, who wanted to have all of the gold and all of the riches for themselves, they have been enjoying Freedom to run their programs.

"Now, these energies coming in are supporting the Freedoms of everyone to live their passions and to express whatever it is that they choose to express, so long as it follows the Great Rule as spoken by Sananda in our last gathering, which is called the Golden Rule. In other words, the way we can say it also is: 'Do whatever it is you choose to do, so long as you do not intentionally or unintentionally harm anyone else.' In other words, do so – express yourselves with discernment and a certain amount of attention to what you are creating with your thoughts words and deeds - preferably, before you express them! That is always the best way to go.

"We are very happy to say - and this is a little bit of a Family report here - we’re very happy to say that you are all doing so well with your clearings and cleansings, and yes, your acceptance. Actually, more than acceptance, you’re welcoming with open arms and open Hearts all of the energies which are coming to help so much with upliftment. When you are uplifted, you really don’t have a lot of room for programs, you know, the 3D programs that have been running so long.

"So it is to enjoy this Freedom in a joyful manner, and to be in celebration mode. As always, we stand on what we said about dates: 'No dates!' However, we can tell you things are coming real close. So even if you are not feeling in celebration, yes, like that Beloved One we spoke with who is temporarily out of a J-O-B, and our advice was, 'Start thinking about what you have passion to do and creating your visions as though you are living in it at this moment, because the moment is at hand!

“Nevertheless, we do have to acknowledge that there are some Freedoms which are like unleashed energies of low vibration – fear-based, that is, which are being exposed and emphasized. And we are speaking primarily of violence, we are speaking about war, and we are speaking about the kinds of wars that take place even within an individual. In very young ones they are often called temper tantrums; they are expressions or outbursts of anger. As young ones reach into teenage and young adulthood they are sometimes called rebellious. As people get even older they are considered to be criminally dangerous, and those kinds of labels are put on them, which only serves to emphasize all the more, the behavior.

"What we are here to do is to bring Peace to the very Hearts of those who are, in some manner or other, engaged in fear-based programs which in turn motivate them to express fearful ways. Because all war is over! It is scheduled, it is ordained, that’s it! It’s over. As often happens, all that is left is what is taking place in the physical world, the environment. This idea that somebody is going to pick somebody out and say, ‘That one is to blame for all of your problems’ – that’s over. The concept that it is some kind of righteous thing to go to war, to cause even nations to go to war – excuse us, In the name of God? – how preposterous is that?

"Mother/Father God loves all who have been created, and that includes you, Beloved Ones, and it includes I, Ashtar, and all dwellers of all dimensionalities. And that Love is what was the material of creation and that Love is who everyone is! It’s just that there are some that have turned so far away from it in their zeal to create the opposite of Love, that we still have these programs showing themselves. And of course, it is the 'last hurrah' for those who would control the news media because you cannot turn on your computers, or pick up a newspaper, or turn on your television sets without some new violence greeting you. Of course, this is a part of a plan.

"As we have said, it is the Light which is contagious, not the dark. It is the Light which will literally flood the dark, and it is the Love that is carried in that Light, and is carried within each and everyone of you, Beloved Family, and beyond in each and every being who has ever been created by Father/Mother God! Everyone has a choice, and the choice is that the consensus of consciousness of Planet Earth is even stronger now, even more the majority, and it says 'Peace everywhere, within every being and between beings, and countries, and so on - there shall be Peace on Earth now!!!

"When there is Peace, there is Joy, and when there is Peace, the 3D programs get turned off because their credibility is gone. When there is Peace there is Love, and all of the expressions of Love - there is no room for the fear-based expressions. And this, Beloved Ones, is a major, major, major part of Ascension preparation. So you see, we remain true to our mission as Ashtar family, which is to prepare for Ascension in all of our teachings!

"Yes, you have heard, we have been celebrating a bit. We have an anniversary*** coming up - but every day is an anniversary for the Joy that was yesterday, to be brought forward into the new day, as you measure time, and we join you in that. It is the Light of Love which is the highest energy of the Universe and which is prevailing to such an extent that even though, yes we know, you are tired of hearing, 'no dates,' but we can tell you – 'Alrighty, no dates, but fasten your seatbelts or strap on your parachutes, or whatever you want to do, because we’re about to take off into a higher realm of dimensionality!'

"In other words, whereas Planet Earth was seen to be in the loooooow portions of 3D, until your harmonic convergence - and that’s a fairly recent date if you want to look it up - now, Planet Earth is aiming higher, higher, higher! And all of these energies that are coming in, which are so beautifully received and paid forward by you, Beloved Family, the whole energy of Planet Earth is evolving rapidly - after all, it must. We’re talking about Ascension preparation, and you don’t go from the very lowest divisions or portions of 3D and just go zooming right on up into 5D, you’ve got to have some preparation! And that’s what we are here for.

"That’s why we ask you to join with us, that’s why we do these Exercises, and most of all, that’s why we come to you with such Love, and such appreciation, because you are with us, Beloved Ones, and yes indeed, One We Are! We ask that you feel this Love, this great Love that brings us together. And by all means enjoy the events which are tumbling fast and with great intensity, rolling out all over the Planet to bring the Planet to Ascension readiness. You do not need to have any fears about whether you are going to make it – of course you’re going to make it - as long as you have passion, as long as you have intention, you are already committed to Ascension!

"You are committed to being here in this Ashtar on the Road family to further assist all the kingdoms of Mother Gaia to prepare for Ascension. And yes, we know, there is always something to do, something more to do, something to clear out, something to heal, or whatever, but we can assure you that you are doing it. We can assure you that we have even more closeness with you now than we did – let’s pick a random date – on the last year of our anniversary!

"Just look at how far we have come together, Beloved Ones, look into the mirror and greet the Divine Being You Are and say, ‘I Am. I Am ascending, I Am evolving, I Am becoming more and more my light body, I Am and always have been Divine!' How’s that? Think about that – 'always have been' – no matter what kind of hat you’ve worn, no matter whether the majority of you has been in the vibrations of fear or Love, you’ve always been Divine, you’ve always had Freedom of choice, you’ve always had Divine Will. And even those of you who may have worn a dark hat, a violent hat, once or more times in your lifetimes, you are honored for living the experience in order to know what it was, so that you could come into this lifetime and discern.

"Make your choices, because you’ve always had the Freedom to do so. Even if you’ve worn a dark hat in this lifetime ­– we’ve spent hours and days of your time, and it is a mission of Joy to show up at these meetings of the dark hats, and to assure them that they, too, are loved, but they are so into their programs, in advertising lingo you would say, 'It’s a real hard sell!' And they are not all in belief of us, but we are happy to report that even some of the darkest hats are listening and they are acknowledging the Light, and this is huge, Beloved Ones, this is huge!!!

"We welcome all to the Light. We have only Love and honor for all experiences lived; experience teaches wisdom. Some people still don’t have required wisdom, or you might say, they have not learned their lessons fully. They are not ready to graduate into Ascension, or Ascendee status. Love them. Show them the Light, give them your compassionate - not sympathetic, not ‘Hey, I’ll get down in the dumpies with you, because I’m sure that will make you better’ - kind of Love, compassionate Love.

"Allow them their Freedom to choose, counsel them if you will, and communicate to them that the World is coming to Peace and that Peace is for them as well, because it is the kind of Peace that is created out of Love. It’s not enslavement, as in – 'don’t you dare open your mouth or I’ll step on you' – kind of Peace, it is the Peace that goes with Freedom, it is the Peace of Love and it is for each and every being to feel that Peace and to follow their passions for whatever it is they are here to do.

"You have your Guides and you have the overviews that we give, the reports, if you will. And so it is that you are well-equipped to make your decisions in the Joy of the Freedom and in the High Integrity that we invite you to live in – the Ascension Lifestyle, but a little bit early!

"So that is what we are here to focus on because, as you know, there is a lot of turmoil in the world right now - we have said that there would be. There is a lot of chaos yet to come, we have said that as well. Is it something to fear? No! It’s time to rejoice and celebrate and to help others along the way, and that is what we mean when we say we have mission together. We are finally able to participate one hundred percent with the white knights, the Lightworkers, and with you, Beloved Family. This is reason for celebration, is it not?

"We are able to participate in the preparations which are centering primarily on the financial aspects of life on Planet Earth, so that complete Freedom can be enjoyed by all, along with abundance. Of course, the next step is going to be our presence among you, openly acknowledged. Call us forth, invite us to fill up your television screens or to broadcast on the airwaves. These will be happening every time that you give permission, which is a way of saying, issue an invitation or roll out your red carpets! It simply empowers us to do more.

"That’s not so simple, really, if you take into consideration all of the various areas that we are actively engaging in at this time. However, as we have said, the main news, that is, the news of the changes and of the Ascension preparation have to do with financial matters. And this is as it must be because, as the Beloved news reporters* have said, when they don’t have their money they become disempowered - they don’t have the money to pay the hired soldiers to go and wage war; they don’t have the money to pay the drug companies to wage war on the people with their legal and illegal drugs - there’s really not much difference in most of them; they don’t have the money to poison the air with their chemtrails, and poison the waters, and poison the very soils of Mother Earth; they do not have the money to drill into Mother Earth and suck out her life’s blood, and so on.

"We’re working on that real hard. We’ve got a lot of great helpers among the white knights and the support of all of you. Lightworkers all over the world are sending out visions of how the World is to be when the changes are made. All we ask that you do, as far as directing any kind of focus toward those who have been wearing the dark hats, is just send them your Compassionate Love, Forgiveness, and yes, Gratitude, for showing the difference. You can see so clearly the difference between dark and Light, and it is for every human on the planet to be able to see the difference as clearly as you!

"Light also provides clarity, yes? So send them the Light of Love, send it all over the Planet and invite people to really open their Hearts and see and understand, and to be forgiving, and to be thankful for the Freedom with which they can now live their lives!

"Beloved Ones, there is such Joy in the Universe, such attention upon Planet Earth, and such uplifting celebrations going on even now, because this mission is accomplished. Ascension is for real, it’s a 'happening thing,' as you like to say. So just get in the highest vibrations of celebration and welcome the Peace that passeth all understanding into your own Hearts. And then we’ll be sharing it everywhere so that everyone can enjoy the new Freedoms from the Highest Dimensional Perspective, Attitude, and Lifestyle, so that these changes which we are telling you about - which we are celebrating even now - become everyone’s reality as we move, literally, move into the Higher Dimensional, shall we say, permanent residence for all of those who are ascending!!!

A seminary professor was vacationing with his wife in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. One morning, they were eating breakfast at a little restaurant, hoping to Enjoy a quiet, family meal. While they were waiting for their food, they Noticed a distinguished looking, white-haired man moving from table to Table, visiting with the guests. The professor leaned over and whispered to His wife, 'I hope he doesn't come over here.' But sure enough, the man did Come over to their table.

'Where are you folks from?' he asked in a friendly voice.

'Oklahoma,' they answered.

'Great to have you here in Tennessee,' the stranger said... 'What do you do For a living?'

'I teach at a seminary,' he replied.

'Oh, so you teach preachers how to preach, do you? Well, I've got a really Great story for you.' And with that, the gentleman pulled up a chair and sat Down at the table with the couple. The professor groaned and thought to himself, 'Great.. Just what I Need.... Another preacher story!'

The man started, 'See that mountain over there? (Pointing out the restaurant Window). Not far from the base of that mountain, there was a boy born to an Unwed mother. He had a hard time growing up, because every place he went, he Was always asked the same question, 'Hey boy, who's your daddy?' Whether he Was at school, in the grocery store or drug store, people would ask the same Question, 'Who's your daddy?'

He would hide at recess and lunch time from other students.. He would avoid Going in to stores because that question hurt him so bad. 'When he was about 12 years old, a new preacher came to his church. He would always go in late And slip out early to avoid hearing the question, 'Who's your daddy?'

But one day, the new preacher said the benediction so fast that he got Caught and had to walk out with the crowd. Just about the time he got to the back door, the new preacher, not knowing Anything about him, put his hand on his shoulder and asked him, 'Son, who's Your daddy?'

The whole church got deathly quiet. He could feel every eye in the church Looking at him. Now everyone would finally know the answer to the question, 'Who's your daddy?'

This new preacher, though, sensed the situation around him and using Discernment that only the Holy Spirit could give, said the following to that Scared little boy.. 'Wait a minute! I know who you are! I see the family
Resemblance now, You are a child of God.'

With that he patted the boy on his shoulder and said, 'Boy, you've got a Great inheritance.. Go and claim it.'

'With that, the boy smiled for the first time in a long time and walked out The door a changed person. He was never the same again. Whenever anybody Asked him, 'Who's your Daddy?' he'd just tell them, 'I'm a Child of God..''

The distinguished gentleman got up from the table and said, 'Isn't that a Great story?'

The professor responded that it really was a great story! As the man turned to leave, he said, 'You know, if that new preacher hadn't Told me that I was one of God's children, I probably never would have
Amounted to anything!' And he walked away..

The seminary professor and his wife were stunned. He called the waitress Over and asked her, 'Do you know who that man was -- the one who just left That was sitting at our table?'

The waitress grinned and said, 'Of course. Everybody here knows him. That's Ben Hooper. He's governor of Tennessee !'

Five (5) lessons about the way we treat people

  1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:

"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.

"Absolutely," said the professor "In your careers,you will meet many people. All are significant.. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say hello."

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

  2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride.

Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960's. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab.

She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached.

  It read:

"Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away... God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others."

  3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those Who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked. "Fifty cents," replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient..

"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins.

"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left.

When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies.. You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

  4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the kings' wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.

The peasant learned what many of us never understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

  5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her."

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away".

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Local Heroes

Lucy Wood of Yelverton, a tiny village of 3000 in Devon in the UK was fed up with having to pay exorbitant prices for meat and vegetables from far-flung locations. She wanted to grow her own vegetables, but didn’t really have the skill-set – or the land – required.

She sought – and received £18,000 of grant money and went on to found Buckland Food Growers 18 months ago, and opened its doors with seven pigs 17 children, five beehives and a selection of planted vegetables. The villagers were invited to join the scheme for £20 sign-up and £15 additional each year, after which they could choose which group – meat, bees or vegetables – they wanted to join in and help out. A strict rota determined who tended the plants and the animals each week.

All the members thereafter enjoy the bounty of hand-reared meat and home-grown vegetables, at enormous cost-savings. Wood herself hasn’t bought store-bought vegetables for months. Although it’s hard work she says, it’s also enjoyable and a good way to build and strengthen her tiny community.

  Harnessing the power of connection

People like Lucy around the world are prospering in these troubled times by discovering new ways to communicate, live together, work and resolve differences. And every one of these success stories shares one thing in common: an ability to harness the fundamental human need to connect, or Bond, and to move past ‘every man for himself’ to ‘we’re all in this together.’

Many are using ingenious methods of ensuring that they and all around them remain prosperous and in work through a neighborhood “savings bank” of bartered services, communal savings and loan, security watch or food sharing.

And speaking of food, after Ketvin Cheung heard about a group of students in America, who’d begun collecting leftovers from supermarkets and restaurants and cooking it university kitchens for the poor and homeless, he got a big idea. With just £4000 he set up FoodCycle in 2008 at King’s Cross in London, a place ridden with homeless people.

The idea was that volunteers would collect surplus food destined for the trash bin from restaurants and supermarkets, take it to an unused kitchen in, say, a church or community center, and turn these leftovers into three-course feasts of fresh pasta bake or shepherd’s pies.

Just four years later, Foodcycle boasts a network of 600 volunteers and 16 locations up and down Britain, which have delivered a total of 27,000 meals to those in need, such as the sick or the elderly who cannot get to or afford food from a supermarket.

Every location also provides space for volunteers and recipients to sit down to a meal together. The system subsists almost entirely on free services, with small donations paying for the small food that is not surplus and also for transportation costs. Cheung is working toward having a Foodcycle in every village and down in Britain.

  A local currency

Besides food, other people are coming up with ingenious ways to support ailing local economies. Ciaran Mundy and a group of local business people in Bristol in the UK were tired of watching the Euro and indeed world’s financial system in freefall. They were also tired of banks taking money from out of a local area and into either the City of London or some other remote bank offshore. And they were frustrated by the slow death of local businesses in Bristol, which were closing down and being taken over the supermarkets or chain stores.

From this frustration, the idea came to them: why not print their own money, by and for Bristol? And from there, the Bristol pound is being born next month, in £1, £5, $10 and $20 denominations.

Thus far, 100 local companies have signed up to use Bristol pounds, including a family bakery, the Ferry company, the Tobacco Factory theatre, many cafes and even a pub.

Bristol residents will open an account with the Bristol Credit Union (BCU), which will administer the scheme, and for every ordinary pound Sterling they deposit, they’ll be credited with one Bristol pound.

The BCU has come up with hologram designs, a gold foil strip with serial numbers and other security measures to counter forgery. The BCU also has online banking and support of the local council so that local businesses can use the local currency to pay their local taxes. Local residents are getting involved to help design the logo of the currency on the Bristol Pound website.

The only catch is that Bristol pounds must remain in Bristol; every pound you spend there must be used by the recipient to pay for staff or local supplies or services. In that way, everyone supports the local economy, Bristol money stays in Bristol, and the residents give new meaning to ‘buying local.’

New sci-fi epic 'Prometheus' is inspired by the real-life search for extraterrestrials, according to director Ridley Scott.

Speaking in Yahoo! Movies' exclusive video featurette for the 'Alien' prequel, Scott said: "This story walks around the truth of what there may be out there."

"The catholic church, NASA and various scientists say that without question there is biology out there in this galaxy… This stuff is all fundamentally based on feasibility.

Writer Jon Spaihts added that the movie drew upon theories which suggested Egyptian and Inca pyramids and Greek philosophers were assisted "by powers beyond the stars".

The movie stars Noomi Rapace and Logan Marshall-Green as scientists who find evidence - a star map - that suggests mankind was created by an alien species. They embark on a scientific mission onboard space ship Prometheus to find the planet on the map, and are joined by mysterious android David (Michael Fassbender) and ball-busting suit Charlize Theron

Needless to say, things don't go as planned when they get there. Besides the philosophy and theorising on the origins of mankind, Ridley Scott promises that 'Prometheus' will "scare the s**t out of you".
