WESAK FULL MOON – LUNAR ECLIPSE

May's Full Moon, known as the Wesak Moon, is considered the most auspicious day in the Buddhist calendar. It is the celebration of the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha. 

Spiritual energies are at their strongest during full moons, and in the Buddhist tradition the Wesak Moon is the most potent amongst these. Wesak is a celebration of the infinite intelligence that exists in all-living beings. A time to pray that mankind awaken to the remembrance of the alliance between the world of human and that of the unseen with focus on global healing and enlightenment for all beings.

Each year on the May Full Moon, Masters of the spiritual hierarchy from all faiths gather in the valley of the Himalayas. The meeting place is called the Wesak Valley, in Tibet, and the reunion happens on both a spiritual and physical level. This is a night of global celebration belonging to everyone. It is the night when the Buddha returns to bless the world with a special water blessing. 
 Wesak offers us the gift of oneness as we can all come together to pray for global unity and peace. We have a long way to go but we are making a change with each and every prayer that is said.

On this particular night we experience the final eclipse in the triology. Eclipses illuminate areas in our life that need to be changed. For us individually it is an opportune time to open to ancient knowledge and wisdom as the memory stored within our own consciousness is illuminated. The step toward regaining our ancient memory means we must move through a dark passage and continue to clear old emotional imprints and karmic patterns. Remember Saturn the planet of Karma is still in retrograde until July.

On this night we need to ask ourselves, have we honored the life force that sustains us by walking a path of truth and living our full potential? Are we living in harmony with the Earth? Can we take full responsibility for our actions and step beyond judgment and blame? Only when we step through the dark passage where our fears and uncertainty lie can we come into our enlightened awareness of how to be an expression of light and a vessel of unconditional love.

I ask that you join with us as we anchor the energy of the andara crystal and the obsidian stone being to pray to heal Tibet and the world. We will be in Lhassa (which means Holy Land) and it is my guidance to be in nature beneath this powerful celestial full moon, to honor those of the unseen world. To give something back to the world of the ancient ones and the nature spirits as we celebrate this magickal night in such a powerful place and send the song of unconditional love from the crystal singing bowls to honor those in the mythical realms.

As we anchor the light it will be woven like a million golden threads to each of you and will illuminate the dragon lines and cosmic spider web with prayer and healing. By joining together we can make a difference. We can each be the change we hope to see take place.

On this night prepare and altar with a bowl of water and place a clear quartz crystal in the bowl. For those of you who have the andara crystal place this in the water. Surround the bowl of water with white flowers and place some white petals in the bowl of water. Find the stillness to connect with yourself. Play some beautiful music and see an image of the andara crystal, the cube octahedron before you filled with golden light. Begin to breathe in the aloha spirit, the spirit of love. Slowly breathe in the spirit 30 times, with each breath feel yourself becoming pure light. Feel your connection to the andara crystal until you completely merge into the light of the crystal of unconditional love. Feel that the andara transports you to the Wesak Valley where you join the Masters to receive the high healing energy. At this time you can receive great clarity for your spiritual journey. Reconfirm your commitment to be an expression of light and feel yourself praying for the healing of all beings to end suffering and to awaken those still sleeping. See the cosmic spider web illuminated with light and your connection to the andara crystal. Make a prayer that the world come together as one light, one world. Hold that vision and feel your spirit gently returning into your physical body temple. Feel your heart open and make the following prayer.

Dear God/Goddess

Show me where you want me to be.

Help me to say the words that will empower, encourage, heal and bring hope to others.

Help me to know when to stay out of my own way.

Show me... Guide Me... I AM ready to move forward.

Offer the celestial water back to the earth mother and know you have made a difference.

We are each joined together by a golden thread. I send you love to guide your journey, strength to be all that you were born to be and the courage to continue to step through your times of challenge. Never give up, never stop believing how important your light is and how you can truly make a difference. There will be days when you are strong and supporting another and there will be days when you feel lost and need the support of someone else. We are all on this magickal journey together, all joined through love.
