The Love and Compassion I See Angels Showing For Us

If you could see the love and compassion that I see the angels showing for us, you would never feel unloved.
On a chilly, sunny day recently (we have had lots of them in Ireland this summer) I was walking in the grounds of Maynooth College. As I walked around the corner, to where there are stepping stones and a water feature, I saw a middle aged couple walking along slowly. I was rather taken aback to see so many angels with them. In addition to their guardian angels, there must have been ten large white, or as I call them, unemployed angels. What struck me about what I was seeing were the expressions of love and compassion on each of the angels’ faces.

 
The man was walking very slowly and hesitatingly and the woman had an arm around him, supporting him. Some of the angels were walking in front of them directing them where to go. The angels were acting so gently and lovingly to both of them. As the woman guided the man lovingly in the direction of a stone seat, some yards away, one of the angels with them turned and walked in my direction. The angel told me that the man was terminally ill and would be going home soon.

 
The man’s guardian angel opened up for a moment giving me a male appearance. The angel was dressed in heavy garments of gold, brown and a prune colour and it held two large steel supports, similar to what would be used in a building’s foundations. The supports were vertical, reaching up above the height of the angel who was very tall. On the angel’s face was an expression of great love and tenderness for the man. He was helping to give him the strength to enjoy this moment. The angels told me that the man was taking great pleasure in being able to take a few shaky steps and that he was enjoying the feel of the sunshine on his face.

 
The angels surrounding the woman were bending forward and it looked as though the air between the angels and the woman was shimmering. It was as if every particle of her was being saturated with love and tenderness, so that she would have an abundance of love and care in turn to show towards him.

 
She guided him carefully as he sat down and then she sat down beside him. He reached out and took her hand very lovingly and she put her second hand on top of his. It was beautiful to see such love and tenderness between a man and a woman.

 
I know the love coming from her was being enhanced by the angels. I know it was helping to give her more strength. It was so beautiful to see.

 
I felt as if I was intruding into this very special moment between the two of them, and even though I was reluctant to leave, I kept walking and continued on around the corner.

 
Angels are so good at helping us to show love and care, and at allowing us to feel it too. So many times we hide it. Ask your guardian angel to help you to feel its love and the love around you. And ask it too, to help you to show love to others.

 
The angels show me so many things so I can share them with you. Sometimes they are things that might seem to be quite trivial but when you look deeply they have a very important message. Yesterday, when I was in the supermarket queuing to pay, the angels brought my attention to a young woman of about twenty just ahead of me in the queue.

There were two angels with her and one of them started to mimic counting money so I knew that the girl was short of money. She had her money in her hand and she let a one cent piece slip to the ground. I saw it on the floor but when she learned down to find it, it wasn’t there. She searched for it, and I helped her. The one cent really mattered to her. I knew the angels had hidden it. I asked the angels why and offered to give her the money but they told me no, that this was important, and that the cent, small as it might seem, needed to be valued.

 
One of the angels told me that during the good economic times here in Ireland, and elsewhere, many people lost respect for money and had started to treated it very casually, not as something that was hard earned and to be respected – and used for good. Many people came to believe that money and material possessions were the most important thing in life, that this was how happiness and success could be measured. Everyone needs enough money to live, but some people had become too greedy.

 
The angels didn’t cause these economic problems but they can help us out of them and they were showing me just one example of it; they were teaching this young woman who had just moved from living with her parents to living on her own. She was learning about the value of money.

 
She gave up looking for the coin and went to pay. She was, as she had known, one cent short. I asked the angels once more could I help but they told me no, she actually had a one cent piece somewhere in her bag. She rooted around and found it. She was so happy to have found that one cent. She appreciated the value of it.

 
The angels are telling me that we all have to respect money; if we have lost this respect, we need to regain it. Money is not something that we should ever squander. We have to work hard to earn it, and we should always appreciate and value it. We must always be aware of those who have less than us and if we can help, help.

 
These are difficult times economically for many. I know the angels can and do help to make things easier for us when we are under financial pressure; they did it for me and my family in the past and I see them helping people every day. I do understand people who feel that their problems are too big to be helped by angels, that if there really was a powerful guardian angel beside them, minding them, they wouldn’t have these financial problems. The angels didn’t cause these economic problems, but they can help us get out of them.

 
Sometimes though, we have a fixed idea of what this help will look like, we ask the angels to help us win the lottery, but fail to notice the cup of coffee someone buys us, or fail to notice how we suddenly ‘discovered’ a shop where we can buy something we needed at half price.

 
I see angels helping people in so many ways, but so often people don’t notice. We are given signs of hope but very often we miss them. Keep an eye out and see if you can recognise how angels are helping to make things easier, either financially or in other ways, for you or your family and friends.
