Dear Friends. Just letting members here know ,that may also be members on Lightworkers, that it has been down all day and apparantly DNS hijacked! Another reason has been given - it has been hijacked by a financial company! I have had no problem logging on today and in fact posted 2 blogs, turned off the computer for several hours, and logged back on again to find only about 4 online. One member Tom, who knows about these technical issues, says it was DNS hijacked, and another member who could get on said that on Facebook Lightworkers.org one of the Admin. said that it had been hijacked by a financial company!
So, can a website be repossessed?
It feels very lonely over there, so I will stay here !!

Since looong I have decided to stay with this site only...when I may not want any computer ...internet for my work....But this site for me will remain until my last breath....or until you allowed me to stay here with you....because I have a Special regard and Love for you and your Light work....

I have also heard about this Hijacking the sites...but Light workers when writing certain notes they take it and for their business they are applying certain blogs and even Articles...but I do not know who is doing such disgusting work....
You are very right....but I have no proofs...
I am also getting lots of such emails...but with out reading much just delete them to save my time and never read it....

Great news....it is back up....it was renewed yesterday by LW per the who is lookup but because of the domain name renewal time it was temporarily displaying a parking page from their registrar Enom or it was maybe a re-adjustment of the DNS ip settings held by the registrar from LW server to parking page and then back, in either case it is back

I have been emailing friends from LWs whose emails I have.....
City of Shamballa network here is renewed years in advance, so barring something drastic (like my sudden departure or failure of my hosting provider Ning) it won't go away as long as both of us are around to pay the bills and provide the services. I learned the domain/internet stuff back in 2004-2005 and lost my domain name chriscomish.com back in 2011 so I'm paranoid (a little) about it. Still working some extra risk management stuff, but the City of Shamballa network is on course.

They need to go to their domains listing and renew immediately. I assume this is still in the redemption period- 30 days grace period, which overrides cybersquaters....they need to work with their domain registrar to get it back before it is too late
Thanks Chris, Lightworkers is totally unaccessible now, even on the Google search the finance company has its information posted under all the headings, I tried to get back to post your link there, but impossible now. Looks like Adeon didn't renew in time. I read that link, very interesting!!
Many people at LW will be devastated, a close-knit family there.
