Tara Mary, I hope you had a great St. Patrick's day! I visited Ireland, but not all of it. I did not go to Northern Ireland, because of the fights at the time that I visited, and unfortunately I did not go to County Cork, because we did not have enough time. I flew into Shannon Airport and we drove down very slowly, through many very quaint towns, among them Tipperary, made famous by an English song, and we went all the way down to Waterford. From there we headed north but on the east coast until we reached Dublin. And from Dublin we cross by Sea to Wales, and continued our trip to Scotland and many other places...
I love Ireland, the green color is specially green, it seems to be different than anywhere else! Lovely!
Thanks Carmen, You too!
My family in Ireland, County Cork, will be celebrating when it gets round to them.
and my family who have passed over, my father and his brothers, will be doing an Irish jig up there!
My father's grandparents came over from Ireland on the ship, and my mother came over from England
with her mother on the ship in the 1920's.
Have a few green ales for me please!!
love and light,
Tara Mary.
