Amani Bio Minister/ Priestess / Wellness Consultant, Reiki Practitioner, Certified Hatha yoga Teacher, Woman’s Presenter are just a few of the aspects that define Amani ( Amani Aakhu Tera Nefer Atum- Re/ AmaniTori Nefer Atum - Re). For the last twelve years she has been a Licensed K-12 teacher by profession and currently teaches Middle School students receiving Special Education services (Learning Disabilities to Emotional Issues). She is known as a compassionate and understanding teacher, who does her best to connect real world experiences with to the children she has been charged to teach. Priestess Amani states that her journey to spiritual awakening and ascension has been a gradual process over the last 20 plus years with many ups and downs. In 2011 some serious life choices made her realize that she need to completely refocus her life and take charge of her divinity and destiny. After some serious earnest prayer and meditation she sought out spirit for guidance. Shortly thereafter she came across an online opportunity to join a Sacred Woman Circle through a Life of Peace Institute using Queen Afua Sacred Woman Book (having had her book for at least 5 years previously sitting on her bookshelf). This was a pivotal and instrumental turning point in her life and she credits this group with helping her to realign herself as a Sacred Woman and Divine Being. Upon completing of three intensive months of sacred woman womb work she sought to continue her journey and was lead to taking Kemetic metaphysical and spiritual classes with by Rev. Dr. Queen Mother Imahku. In June of 2013 Amani found herself being initiated, and ordained as a Kemetic Priestess thru Akeru Temple of the True Living Waters now known as Sharaym Shenu Temple by Rev. Dr. Queen Mother Imahku. These titles also allow her to be referred to as an Interfaith Minister holding certificates from______. Priestess Amani has found that the more she opened her self-up to reclamation of sprit the more the Divine brought forth for her. She has had the opportunity to take and receive several certifications which include the completion of the following: In February of 2013 she completed a yearlong 200 hour Teacher Trainer course in Integral Hatha Yoga from the Institute of Health and Healing located in Newport News, VA and now holds the distinction of being a Certified Hatha Yoga instructor. In July of 2013 Amani received her Reiki I & II certification from a Life of peace Institute. In addition in March and July of this year she received additional training in Gendai Reiki (As taught by Reiki Master Hiroshi Doi of Japan) (Shoden and Okuden - advanced/symbols & correspondence with celestial bodies) with Soul Touch Healing Studio and Reiki Master Sakara Kemilla. In May of 2015 she received her certification as a Naturopath consultant through a Life of Peace Institute under the guidance of Dr. Akua Gray. Lastly in July of 2015 she completed 2 years of initiation requirements for Sacred Goddess Temple Mastery a program also offered by A life Of Peace Institute. She currently provides services as a Healer that include Counseling, Chakra Readings and Clearings, Pendulum Readings/ Dousing, Card Readings, Reiki Healing, Health and Wellness Consultations, Yoga classes, Women’s healing workshops and programs, Kemetic Naming ceremonies, weddings and baptisms.
