Frances - I posted a picture I took of Jon at the Yes concert a few hours after I bumped into him and Jane. - enjoy.
alain, that video is nice. I think I will use it for some meditation. probably tomorrow - today I have stuff going on - fixing the porch steps, working in my garden.
this will be a nice song to listen to - sitting in the backyard near my rock altar, surrounded by my roses.
He is wonderful, isn't he? I'm jealous. Don't kick yourself. I would have been too starstruck to speak at all. :)
Frances, what is that sigh for? - lol. I always sigh when I think of Jon, seeing as I've had a mad crush on him since 1972. and when I bumped into him and his wife walking near Niagara Falls I was so taken by surprise that I could barely speak - then missed a wonderful opportunity a minute later when he was taking a picture of Jane sitting on a boulder - I should have offered to take a picture of them both and then maybe one of me and Jon. 8 years later, and I'm still kicking myself.
I saw Kitaro and Jon Anderson in Seattle when they did the Lady of Dreams tour. sigh. Koi, is one of my favorites too. thanks for the share today. :)
learning Japanese is on my "to do" list when I retire. - yes, it was Shogun that got me started on that wonderful civilization. I've much learning to do.
I've loved Kitaro since the late 70's when my best friend (now my husband) introduced me to his music. Kitaro's Silk Road suite is phenomenal.
There are three musicians that I would love to meet: Kitaro, Vangelis, and Jon Anderson. I did meet Jon briefly in 2004, but there wasn't enough time to really talk with him.
alain, I didn't write that about "doing this when I was bored." - that was from the original person who put the video together for youtube. - so I can't take credit for that. If I had put the video together, I would have chosen a better picture. but it is what it is.
but yes, this song IS like a heaven's hug. I love the whole cd - but this song is my favorite.
The cd "Kojiki" is actually a musical interpretation by Kitaro of Japan's creation myth.
