HEAVEN #3577 Everything in Nature Grows, September 10, 2010

God said:

Everything in nature grows. Everything in nature grows because it is natural to grow. It isn’t that a rose or a cauliflower set out to grow. They don’t work at it. They grow. They would not know how to make themselves grow. Nor is there any school that can teach them how to grow. They grow on their own. We could say that they trust in their growth. They are meant to grow. It is ordained that they will grow.

Sun and rain are provided for them. And for those green growing things that find themselves out of their natural habitat, there are good kind people like you who nourish them and water them, filling their needs.

With fruit, flowers, and vegetables, the season of their growth is known. You can anticipate when apple trees will flower and you can predict when the apples will be ripe to pick.

In your case, it is a little different. Your growth is assured. One way or another the growth you so desire will arrive, and yet you know not the season. And you mostly do not notice the growth as it happens. For you, your growth may be inch by inch, or mile by mile, or all at once. That you will grow is a definite, and yet you are not sure of that. Have confidence in the natural process.

You know it is better to relax than to be tense. Has not your search for higher consciousness often been filled with urgency? Your growth is not a now or never sort of thing. Your growth is ever whether you see it or not.

Whereas a plant smiles at the sun and knows it is blossoming right along, knows when it just has to rest, knows when it just has to stay on a plateau, and knows when to burst forth in all its glory, you may not be at peace with your growth. You may even despair of ever growing to the spiritual point that you would like to achieve. Dear Ones, it is not your achievement. Evolution, enlightenment, higher consciousness etc. are not your doing. They are your blessing. I bless you with higher and greater, and you are blessed. It is not your effort that brings you higher on the spiritual plane.

Your growth is not dependent upon this course or that course. Your evolution has been built-in. We can say it is dependent upon Me. Your growth spurts have been embedded; they have their own time. You do not beat the drums. You do not set the timer. The timer has been set.

There are not rules to your evolution. There are not how to’s to speeding it up or slowing it down. You can copy what is called an enlightened being, yet that does not make you one. What you learn may be admirable, yet imitation goes only so far.

You could desire to be an airline pilot, and yet pantomiming the motions of a pilot the way a star in a movie might does not make you a pilot. You can wear the uniform and turn the wheel just so, and push the buttons dashingly, and yet there is more to becoming a pilot than pushing the buttons.

Of course, it is not really enlightenment that you seek. You are seeking your realization of it. You are seeking your awareness of who and what you already are. It is like you have forgotten that you are a pilot, and one day, you are flying a plane, and you realize what you had forgotten.

It is guaranteed that you will remember. Your remembering is on its way right now.
