The Jedi path is one of balance. We cannot be a machine of the mind or the body. So today is a day for you to rest. It is not about work. It is about you. Do whatever feels good and lets you restore. For today your diet and exercise and study programs can wait. Only partake of any of them if they restore you and only in moderation. ( Or medically needed in case of the diet. )
Below is a rough schedule for the day but modify it to fit your needs and preferences:
Hour 1: Clean Your House
Your environment impacts your emotions and mindset. Take an hour to get things clean so that your environment does not impact you negatively.
Hour 2: Do a Brain Dump
Get out a notepad and write down all your worries. Your to-do list. Your random nagging thoughts. Dump them all down so that they are someplace to get back to later. Today is about rest so let these cares sit on paper and out of your head.
Hour 3: Create (Or Re-establish) a Routine
In preparation for getting back to the rest of your week, I want you to write down a loose routine that you can follow. Something that will allow you to be productive but schedules in time for you to rest and restore at some point in the week.
Rest of Day: Unwind/Rejuvenate
For the rest of the day, I want you to meditate. Play video games. Read a book for fun. Go for a hike. Work out if you wish. Anything that helps let go of the tension and then restores you. Do not forget self-care of a physical nature. Take a bubble bath or one with a bath bomb. Use skin care products and comb your hair. Wear something comfy and eat some comfort food. Today is to restore the spirit the rest can wait.
