The Night of the Bride
Before the end of correction, there is a special state called “the night of the bride.” The story in The Zohar talks about the preparation of the bride for the wedding ceremony. The bride is the collection of all the souls. It is a Kli that is ready to bond with the Creator. When you reach this state, you feel that your Kli is prepared, supported, and ready for spiritual unity. The groom is the Creator. It is called “night” because the Dvekut (unity) is still not apparent and the Light is still not shining in the vessels. Night means that the vessels still feel darkness, absence of unity. When the night turns into day, the abundance of the end of correction is promised, but The Zohar doesn’t tell us exactly why it is good—only that it is wholeness, Light, and peace
