God Shining a Light ... A Special Gratitude Prayer

This morning I walked along the beach here in New Zealand and
took this photo. It was like God was shining a light.
... I most definitely needed it!
Sunday, Valentine's Day was a very sad reminder of a much happier
Valentine's Day last year with my partner Lee.
I have found it helps to be grateful for little things. For me, walking the beach every morning, followed by the coffee at my favorite cafe, is one of my happiness rituals.
It starts my day. Here is my gratitude prayer...I say it at night
Gratitude Prayer
With the power of God that I am
I am gratitude expressed (feel it)
As this day ends I am grateful for every
experience that has come my way today
(feel into them all - you begin to realize that every experience JUST IS.
It is our response to the experience that makes us happy or sad)
I give thanks for the many blessings in my life (feel what you have and feel what you do not have as if you have it already)
(feel the peace of a deep KNOWING that all is well)
And so it is...and so it is...and so it is...AMEN
