HOW CAN YOU TRAIN A BUTTERFLY TO PHOTOGRAPH THEM AND SIT ON YOUR FINGER?
Yes how do you get them so far? Here with my new models.
Some are sitting very high. Just make a photo.
You need to be patience, sometimes they will fly away, because they are affraid, or they come down very slowly.
Stay calm.
If you are really lucky he or she will show you his or her best side.
And then all their sides and you can slowly come nearer.
They will watch what you do and you need to talk to him/her and tell them there is no need to be affraid.
Here he is really looking at me, as you can see. It’s like he is telling me: “I know. I am your new model”.
And then he turns his back towards you by showing and telling: “Do you see I am not affraid, you can touch me now very slowly. Try!”
And when you are very lucky you will get them on your finger or even more as my model is showing you.
He is telling here he liked to be photographed by me and he is not affraid of me.
And we did very good teamwork and by that giving me a High Five.
Isn’t that funny? Getting a High Five from a butterfly for our teamwork.
He was first affraid of me and later knew there was nothing to be affraid of.
How many people can tell they have got a High Five from a butterfly? Well I did.
So now it is your turn to try. Be patience. Take the time for it.
Because it is so much fun.
And did I laugh when I saw this High Five photo.
As he was telling: “We were a great team, we did fine, didn’t we?”
So have fun with the butterflies or maybe dragonflies.

I find this incredibly moving and so wonderful to know that we are also capturing and have not forgotten the beauty of interacting with the tiniest creatures. All beings respond. Thanks for a sensitive yet highly powerful teaching.
What a wonderful piece ! It is all true....
