In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Triple Warmer meridian, or San Jiao, is the pathway for distributing vital energy and fluids to all the body's organs. It also governs the fascia or connective tissue and affects the body's homeostasis by regulating the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, and adrenals. As such, it is involved in a wide variety of conditions, including:

   * allergies and food sensitivities
   * autoimmune conditions
   * lymphatic conditions
   * weight gain
   * joint and connective tissue disorders
   * hormone and endocrine system imbalances
   * disorders of fluid metabolism
   * storage of traumatic imprints
   * a runaway "fight-or-flight" response and stress-related illnesses

When the Triple Warmer goes into overdrive, it creates symptoms of stress overload—irritability, racing mind, headaches, eyestrain, chest constriction, diaphragmatic pressure, tight neck and shoulders, joint pain, etc. When it is deficient, it creates symptoms of fatigue, sluggishness, chronic low energy, and fluid buildup (edema) in various parts of the body.

The Triple Warmer Meridian Care system, a Reiki energy system developed by Mariah Windsong, can assist in "flushing" the Triple Warmer when it is in excess and supplementing it when it is deficient, thus alleviating stress and fatigue and restoring balance and homeostasis to all your body's systems.
